The YWAM Madison Training & Retreat Center is a former elementary school that we purchased in 1995 and have renovated extensively since then. Surrounded by farms, it is a peaceful place to get away from the noise and distractions of the city and spend time with God.

The Training Center sits on seven acres of land. Behind the building is a bonfire pit, perfect for roasting marshmallows on those cool Wisconsin evenings. It’s a popular place for late night discussions or spending time in worship. There is also a play area and swingset for kids.

The Training Center has been converted from an elementary school. It includes a classroom that can comfortably seat 30-40 people, a game lounge with pool table, foosball, and pingpong, and a full-sized gymnasium with basketball hoops and volleyball net. The kitchen and dining room will feed and seat 60, with overflow seating available in the gym. We also have dorm rooms for couples and singles, which will sleep 60 people. Our bathrooms were remodeled in 2010, with additional showers installed to accommodate larger groups.
