Training Schools

YWAM Madison Bible School for the Nations Bible School for the Nations is a six-month course to train missionaries who can “accurately handle the word of God,” and communicate truth in a relevant way. Whether through a local church, on a university campus, or among a group of Christian leaders in restricted areas, we believe this course can enable many more people to help transform our world.
YWAM Biblical Perspectives for Transforming Nations Biblical Perspectives for Transforming Nations (BPTN) is a three month school with the University of the Nations. It will equip YWAM missionaries with biblical principles for each domain and an understanding of how God brings transformation to a nation. This course aims to be practical – to teach both principles and application in real world situations — so you can obey Jesus’ command.During the BPTN, you’ll learn how to find biblical principles of the kingdom of God in every domain of society. For example, we’ll discuss environmental issues, the make-up of families, and the role of government in a just society.You’ll gain experience teaching and applying these principles in real world situations to see transformation. And you’ll trace how God has worked through men and women in history to bring transformation to individuals and communities. Throughout the school, you’ll research and strategize with God to create a plan to see real change brought to a real community.
YWAM Rescue Ops DTS Discipleship Training School (YWAM DTS) is a 5-6 month Christian missionary training school that focuses on interactive learning, Christian discipleship, and outreach. YWAM Madison runs DTS two times a year: June-October is the Children at Risk DTS and Community Development DTS; September-March is the Children at Risk DTS and Rescue Ops DTS.
YWAM Madison Biblical Education and Leadership Training Bible Education and Leadership Training (BELT): The vision of BELT is to see people groups transformed by the word of God through empowering community and church leaders who have limited access to Biblical training.
YWAM School of Communication Foundations School of Communication Foundations (SCF) is a second-level course in the University of the Nations. The aim of the SCF is to strengthen your relationship with God as a personal God who communicates truth with love to His world, both individually and corporately. You will develop the character, knowledge, and skills to communicate God’s love and truth passionately to His world.The School of Communication Foundations lays essential foundations in biblical communication. It aims to sharpen your ability to communicate clearly through cross-cultural and interpersonal dynamics. It equips you to prepare and deliver a message to a variety of audiences. Through provoking instruction and discussion, practical assignments, and video evaluation, you will discover your place and potential as an effective influencer in the public forum.You will gain skills in speaking, writing and listening through a variety of practical assignments, discussions and weekly lectures. You will be challenged to rethink communication and to be reshaped by God’s revealed truth. 
 YWAM Madison Launchpad Launchpad is an eight month internship that helps DTS grads discover their gifts & calling, equips them with practical tools, and helps them figure out and take the practical steps needed to fulfill their calling wherever that might be.
